Mario

Mario Artecona is the Executive Director of the Miami Business Forum, a Civic/Political organization comprised of influential and engaged Miami-Dade CEOs. A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mr. Artecona has been involved in Miami's civic arena for over 20 years. A former employee with Miami Dade County and the Codina Group, Mr. Artecona focuses on issues which highlight county-wide community participation. He is the chair of the Community Relations Board, Board Member of the Dade Community Foundation as well as other advisory boards in the public and non-profit sectors. He is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Business and Public Administration.

An avid golfer, he has been playing the game for 20 years, most of those years at the Biltmore. He is also is a fan of the game's history.

Mario is married to Coral Gables native Sarah Nesbitt-Artecona, current Chair of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and an administrator at the University of Miami.
