Doctors Hospital names Patricia Thorp to board of directors

Doctors Hospital, a part of Baptist Health South Florida, has named Patricia Thorp to its board of directors. Ms. Thorp is president and founder of Thorp & Company, a full-service public relations firm based in Coral Gables.

Ms. Thorp also serves on the board of directors of the Commonwealth Institute, a women's peer mentoring group; Miami Coalition of Christians and Jews; and Suited for Success. She had served as board member of the local chapter of the International Women's Forum.
