2010 Women of Impact to be honored at Women’s History Coalition dinner

Celebrate Women’s History Month on Thursday, March 11, at a reception (6 p.m.) and dinner and program (6:30 p.m.) to salute the 2010 Women of Impact and a photographic exhibition of the Women of Impact 1989-2010.

Hosted by the Women’s History Coalition of Miami-Dade County, Inc., the event will be at the University of Miami Convocation Center-BankUnited, 1245 Dauer Dr. (across from Metrorail on Ponce de Leon Boulevard).

President Rhoda Shirley and the Women’s History Coalition of Miami-Dade County, Inc. are proud to announce the 2010 Women of Impact: Georgina A. Angones, Dorothy Chaney, Patricia Clarke, Linda Collins Hertz, Daniella Levine and Victoria Usherenko.

Music will be provided by the Diamante Quartet of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Supporting the event are the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Mayor and Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners, the University of Miami, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and Florida International University Women's Studies Center.
