Citibank has signed a 10-year lease, with renewal options, for 5,500 square of retail space in 396 Alhambra’s new North Tower.

Citibank, which has maintained a branch on the corner of Alhambra Circle and LeJeune Road, will move into a temporary location in the lobby of 396 Alhambra’s South Tower. Its old branch building will be demolished to make way for the new 15-story North Tower, which will become the branch’s permanent home once the new building is completed.

In its temporary location, customers can enjoy all the services they are accustomed to, including a full-service drive-through, 24-hour ATM and more. The bank can be accessed via 396 Alhambra’s south entrance on Giralda Avenue.

North Tower completion is slated for the third quarter of 2011. The lease includes four five-year extension options.

396 Alhambra, at the corner of LeJeune Road and Alhambra Circle, includes 273,000 square feet of Class A office space, floor plans up to 31,000 square feet, upscale amenities and new 884-space parking garage. Phase I occupancy will be available during the third quarter of this year; Phase II occupancy will be available in 2011.

Balfour Beatty is the construction manager. Fullerton Diaz, the award-winning architecture and design firm, is the architect. Leasing information is available from Darryl Robinson at 305-442-0396.
