Dr. Steve Eskin performs music with a message at Coral Gables Hospital
Dr. Steve Eskin, Coral Gables Hospital’s board-certified gastroentrologist, recently presented his original songs with a timeless message, promoting good health and well-being at the Floridean’s Butch Rice Wellness Center. The event was part of The Floridean’s “Lunch and Learn” series for active seniors called “Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll.” Dr. Eskin’s presentation was one of a four-part series including topics such as red wine and heart health, sexuality in the senior years and information on prescription medication and insurance.
“I was so happy to be part of The Floridean’s ‘Lunch and Learn’ series,” said Dr. Eskin. “Music is a great way to impart important information, and I enjoy playing for audiences of all ages, from grade school assemblies to events for seniors like this one.”
Dr. Eskin’s songs cover a wide range of topics, including tips on preventing and controlling diabetes, CPR and screening tests for heart disease, breast cancer, cervical, prostate and colon cancer. He has performed in venues all over South Florida.
