Scholarships

The Foundation looks forward to recognizing and helping deserving local students at the end of each academic year.

Community Foundations are not subject to most of the IRS requirements placed on scholarships established by private foundations, and are, therefore, a more attractive alternative for individuals, businesses, or private foundations who want to establish a scholarship fund to help local students. Community Foundations also provide students with a central source for multiple scholarships.
