CoralGables@HOME to host Tour of Private Kitchens this weekend

What could be better than a day touring dream kitchens, sampling local chefs’ specialties, and lunching with friends?

CoralGables@HOME presents The “Dishing It Up!” Tour of Private Kitchens. Dishing It Up! events will kick-off with an Auction and Reception on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010. The Tour of Private Kitchens will be held on Saturday, Jan 23 and will feature some of Coral Gables’ most fabulous kitchens and nine participating restaurants.

The Tour begins at 10 a.m. at the prestigious Old Spanish Village. A variety of events ranging from cooking demonstrations and tastings to table settings will occur throughout the Tour. Tour tickets may be purchased at the door on Saturday at 180 Palermo, Old Spanish Village Model.

CoralGables@HOME is the first Florida-based program of its kind. Founded by the Coral Gables Community Foundation, CoralGables@HOME is a membership-based program for Coral Gables residents, 50 years-of-age plus, making it easier to enjoy life in the City Beautiful. CoralGables@HOME annual membership fees are $50 per month or $500 a year. The program began providing services to members on February 2, 2009.
