Coral Gables Community Foundation initiative keeps active seniors independent

CoralGables@HOME, the Coral Gables Community Foundation initiative launched on Feb. 2, 2009 to support independent living at home for older residents, has added its 100th member.

More than 45 similar programs have formed across the U.S. following the lead of nationally known Beacon Hill Village in Boston. A most interesting lecturer spoke at the University of Miami Women’s Guild Luncheon on March 1.
