The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce led 80 guests on a whimsical expedition into the city’s cultural epicenter during its recent Evening on Aragon tour.

Sponsored by Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust, the trek began Wednesday evening, Jan. 23, at the Coral Gables Art Cinema, 260 Aragon Ave., where participants were treated to a showing of shorts and an outdoor screening.

Celebrating 2013 as the Italian Year of Culture, the Società Dante Alighieri, 300 Aragon Ave., was the next stop. Guests perused an exhibit of Italian Art in South Floridia while listening to live music.

The Coral Gables Museum, 285 Aragon Ave., the final stop, featured its six latest exhibits, including a one-night showing and silent auction of 15 fanciful ArtCycle creations.

Guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres at each destination, and some participants continued afterward to the encore stop, Aragon 101, to enjoy complimentary wine and bites.
