Gourmet food lovers in Coral Gables will soon have a new destination to add to the list.

Epicure Gourmet Market & Café is expanding to Coral Gables.

The legendary Miami Beach market will open in October on the lower level of Gables Ponce, a mixed-use project by Gables Urban under construction at 4585 Ponce de Leon Boulevard.

The 24,000 square-foot gourmet grocery and restaurant will offer Epicure’s typical mix of groceries, fresh produce, meats, fine wines, teas specialty foods and more.

“We’ve been searching for the perfect location within Coral Gables for quite some time,” said Jason Starkman, opwner of Epicure Gourmet Market & Café. “Gables Ponce was the ideal fit with its stunning architecture and prime visibility. The increasing demand for gourmet and specialty foods in the area was also a deciding factor.”
