The Coral Gables Storm Under-13 girls soccer team, representing the Coral Gables Youth Center, won the championship of the ESPN Deportes tournament on Sunday, Oct. 14, with a taut 1-0 victory over Miami Premier at Kendall Soccer Park. The Storm, coached by Rory Osborne, finished with a 3-1 record against older U-14 opponents.

The Toros U-13 boys, coached by Eric Vasquez, took home the championship trophy with a 3-1 win over Miami Strike Force. The Toros U-11 boys, coached by Chris Moyssidis, advanced to the final but lost on penalty kicks to Sunrise.

The Toros U-10 boys, coached by Mario Concha, were defeated 4-1 by Miami Strike Force in the finals of the Miami-Dade Soccer League tournament.
