Gourmet Table, a high-end, boutique marketplace and delicatessen, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday evening, Sept. 19, with Mayor Jim Cason, business leaders and numerous guests.

Located at 4555 Ponce de Leon Blvd. near the Village of Merrick Park, Gourmet Table is among nearly 20 new dining venues that have or soon will open in Coral Gables. Partners are Helena Gonzalez, Leonor Pocaterra, Veronica Septer and Mario Rauseo.

“We’re not your traditional food market, and I am absolutely thrilled about our opening,” Ms. Septer said.

With a commitment to importing luxury foods from from France, Greece, Italy and Spain, Gourmet Table strives for quality and paramount service. Selections include caviars, deli meats, Scottish smoked salmon, cheeses, foie gras, decadent chocolates and exotic teas.
