The Coral Gables Museum ended its first Capture Coral Gables photography exhibit and contest with a closing reception and awards ceremony Saturday, Aug. 25.

Museum visitors voted for their favorite photos throughout the exhibition, which opened on July 7.

The grand prize, the People’s Choice Award, went to Sean Black in the Faces of Coral Gables category for his portrait of George G. Geldof. Mr. Black’s prize package included brunch for four and a foursome of golf at the Biltmore Hotel and Country Club as well as $100 cash.

Additional prizes consisted of gift baskets filled with dozens of gift cards to local Coral Gables businesses and restaurants valuing over $200 for each winner. Program sponsors include the city of Coral Gables, Think Tank Photo and Associated Photo & Imaging.
