High Heels and Handshakes and the Coral Gables Woman’s Club collected a trove of high heels on Wednesday evening, Aug. 15, to benefit Dress for Success Miami, a nonprofit that provides interview clothing and career development to low-income women.

The “Gables Ladies Luxury Hot Pink Summer Event” was held at Crave restaurant at the Village of Merrick Park (Merrick Shops), where guests enjoyed networking games, a complimentary pink cocktail and Crave bites.

There were special prizes for highest heels, wildest heels and sexiest heels chosen by judges from Punch Fitness.

Ladies were encouraged to wear their hottest pink attire in honor of guest speaker Macarena Zilveti from the Badges of Courage Foundation, which supports low-income women with breast cancer and those who are in treatment.

High Heels and Handshakes is a community resource organization, bringing philanthropic business citizens together through events benefiting local and global non-profit organizations.
