Coral Gables Hospital honors long-time employees at luncheon
Coral Gables Hospital recently hosted an employee recognition luncheon. Based on years of service, employees were recognized by the hospital’s administration.
Special recognition was given to Joann Harris, unit secretary, and Barbara Walters, assistant nurse manager, for 35 years of service. In addition, Nilda Rosa, surgical assistant, and Maria Rangel, director of case management, have given 30 years of service to Coral Gables Hospital and were recognized during the ceremony.
“Coral Gables Hospital would not be the facility it is today without these dedicated employees, they truly deserve this recognition,” said Jay Miranda, CEO of Coral Gables Hospital.
Coral Gables Hospital also honored employees who served 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years. During the event, Yanet Alvarez, social worker and Eimy Rodriguez, rehabilitation aide, were also recognized for their designations as Coral Gables Hospital Tenet Heroes for 2012.
