The city of Coral Gables recently created a webpage to increase the likelihood of finding a lost pet.

Under the “I Want To Find/Report My Lost Pet” on the city’s website at coralgables.com, pet owners can find resourceful information and referrals to specialized webpages – lostpets.com and fidofinder.com – which allow for a broader search for pets lost in Coral Gables and in surrounding areas.

“We want to help our residents who are going through a very emotional time looking for their lost pets,” said Coral Gables Mayor Jim Cason, who initially suggested adding the new webpage. “Our city’s website now includes important information that will assist them in their search.”

The new webpage also has additional information regarding pet adoption, pet licensing and vaccination, as well as spay/neuter services. To view this information, click here.
