During the month of August, guests can enjoy free Sunday admission to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. This summertime special represents a $12 to $25 savings for garden visitors.

Each Free Sunday in August will include a plants sales area, a free yoga class (11 a.m.), a featured food truck and walking tours throughout the day.

As always, guests can enjoy Fairchild’s tropical rainforest, view world-class art, dine at an award-winning café and hop on the tram for a narrated tour that includes the history of Fairchild as well as explanations of plant collections throughout the 83-acre paradise.

Some of Fairchild’s highlights include the vine pergola, where a display of some of the most amazing flowering vines can be seen in bloom year-round; the palm allée and the overlook, where shady passages open up to sunny views overlooking Fairchild’s lakes; the rainforest, where the soothing sound of waterfalls and the cool shade make it a summer must-see; and the Bailey palm glade, which has become one of the most popular photos spots because of its breathtaking view of Fairchild’s lakes and lowland areas.

Free admission continues on the first Wednesdays of September, October and November, too.
